Installation and Maintenance

Iris 8mm uses a Unilin click floating installation system that allows planks to lock together without glue for a fast and efficient setup. Proper subfloor preparation is still important before installation, including cleaning, leveling, and creating a smooth, stable surface. With click floating floors, furniture can be moved in immediately after installation.

For routine care, Tile Mart recommends sweeping or vacuuming regularly to remove dirt and grit, followed by damp mopping with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for vinyl floors. To help protect the surface over time, use felt pads under furniture and place rugs or mats in high-traffic areas.
