What Is Simple Stone Tile?
Simple Stone is a mesh-mounted pressed glass mosaic with a marble-look finish, offered in three colorways, Bianco (white and pale grey), Nero (black and charcoal), and Oro (cream and sandy beige with soft gold veining), across three shapes: pebble, chevron, and penny round. Because the body is pressed glass rather than ceramic or porcelain, water absorption stays under 0.5%, so the whole line holds up in genuinely wet, high-traffic spaces rather than just looking like it can.
Simple Stone Floor and Wall Tile
All three shapes share the same core material: 1/4" thick pressed glass mosaic on mesh-mounted sheets, rated for wall and floor installation in residential and commercial settings, with natural V3 shade variation from sheet to sheet.
Pebble: A matte-only finish (no glossy blend) in domed, rounded pieces. This is the one shape in the line rated for shower pans, so it's the pick for a sloped, curbless shower floor. It's also rated for pool linings, fireplace surrounds, and frost resistance.
Chevron and Penny Round: Both blend matte and glossy glass pieces in the same sheet, so the surface catches light unevenly instead of reading as one flat finish. Both are rated for pool linings, fireplace surrounds, and frost resistance, but neither carries the shower pan rating, so keep them to flat walls and floors rather than a sloped shower base.
Simple Stone Tile by Room
Shower floor: Run the pebble shape on a sloped shower pan, where its small format and domed texture give sure footing in standing water.
Pool and outdoor kitchen: All three shapes carry a pool lining rating, so Simple Stone works as well lining a pool as it does behind an outdoor kitchen backsplash.
Bathroom floor or accent niche: Use chevron or penny round on a flat bathroom floor, or frame a niche with the pebble shape for textured contrast against a flatter field tile.
Fireplace surround: All three shapes are fireplace surround rated, so any colorway can wrap a fireplace without stepping outside its intended use.
How to Choose Simple Stone Tile
Choose pebble for a sloped shower floor. It's the only shape in the line rated for shower pans. Chevron and penny round are flat wall and floor tile.
Pick chevron or penny round for backsplashes and feature walls. The matte and glossy glass blend in both gives a backsplash visible texture without the bulk of stone.
Lean on Bianco for a bright, spa-like room, Nero for moody contrast against white fixtures, and Oro for a warm neutral that pairs with brass and natural wood.
Order a sample before committing. Pressed glass reflects light differently than the glass tile you may be picturing from a screen, see the matte/glossy mix and the marble-look veining in your own room's light first.
