Installation and Maintenance

Iris uses a click-lock floating installation system that allows planks to snap together without adhesive for a fast and stable fit. Proper subfloor preparation is still important, including cleaning, leveling, and creating a smooth surface before installation. With click floating installs, furniture can be moved in immediately after installation.

For routine care, Tile Mart recommends regular sweeping or vacuuming to remove dirt and grit, followed by damp mopping with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for vinyl floors. To help protect the surface over time, use felt pads under furniture and place rugs or mats in high-traffic areas.
