What Is New Dimensions Tile?
New Dimensions is a 12x36 matte ceramic wall panel collection built around sculptural surface texture instead of a flat printed face. Each of the six designs presses a different three-dimensional pattern into the tile, from a raised wood-grain chevron to a honeycomb of concave facets, so the wall reads as relief and shadow rather than a flat surface. For a flat large-format alternative in the same scale, browse large-format tiles instead.
The six designs split into three groups. Dark Oak Chevron and Light Oak Linear are wood-look, with the grain printed on and the texture pressed in. Ivory Bevel and Moon Concave are pure geometric relief, faceted or honeycombed. Ivory Herringbone and Moon Spackle bring in woven and plastered textures. Light Oak Linear's vertical reeding also fits the broader fluted tile look if that's the specific style you're shopping for.
New Dimensions Wall Panels
Wood-look panels: Dark Oak Chevron presses a bold raised chevron into a warm honeyed wood print, while Light Oak Linear ribs a paler blonde wood print with fine vertical grooves. Inkjet printing keeps the grain looking natural panel to panel, so a full wall doesn't read as an obvious repeat.
Geometric relief panels: Ivory Bevel presses slim faceted shapes into the surface in a mixed matte and gloss finish, so light shifts across the wall as you walk past it. Moon Concave presses a repeating honeycomb of scooped facets that catches and softens light from any angle.
Textured panels: Ivory Herringbone raises the classic woven angle pattern right into the panel, so you get a herringbone wall without setting individual pieces. Moon Spackle mimics hand-troweled plaster, giving a plain white wall the same soft, irregular depth as real Venetian plaster.
New Dimensions Tile by Room
Living room feature wall: Moon Spackle or Ivory Bevel works as a calm, textural backdrop behind a sofa or media console, where the panel's relief reads as quiet depth rather than a busy pattern.
Fireplace surround: All six designs carry a fireplace surround rating, and the panel format means fewer grout lines breaking up the texture across the face of the surround.
Bedroom headboard wall: Light Oak Linear's vertical fluting draws the eye upward behind a bed, while Dark Oak Chevron brings warmth to the same wall in a bolder pattern.
How to Choose New Dimensions Tile
Check your wall is flat before ordering. Like any large-format tile, a 12x36 panel shows substrate irregularities more than a smaller tile would, so confirm the wall is flat and properly prepped before you commit to a textured panel on top of it.
Think about which direction your light comes from. Raised and concave textures both rely on light and shadow to read. A wall lit mostly from above will show Dark Oak Chevron's relief differently than one lit by a side window, so consider your actual light source, not just the photo.
Use a narrow grout joint to keep the focus on the texture. A wide grout joint competes with the pattern already built into the panel. A tighter joint lets the relief itself carry the visual interest.
Pick a wood-look panel for warmth, a geometric panel for structure. Dark Oak Chevron and Light Oak Linear read warmer and more organic. Ivory Bevel and Moon Concave read more architectural and modern.
Order a sample to see the texture under your own lighting. Photos flatten relief and shadow more than almost any other tile feature, so the difference between a sample and a photo is bigger here than usual.
