What Is the Decoris Collection?

Decoris takes the look of small, individually set handmade tiles and builds it into a single 13x25 glazed porcelain tile. Each piece carries a pressed relief that looks like separate squares or bars once it is on the wall, so you get the detail of a small-format installation with far less setting time. Five colors run through the collection: Clay White, Moca Beige, Light Blue, Forest Green, and Navy Blue.

Amaris and Artis Relief Shapes

Decoris comes in two relief shapes. Amaris is formed from 4-inch squares, a classic grid softened by the uneven glaze of hand-finished ceramic. Artis is formed from slim rectangles measuring roughly 1.75 by 6.125 inches, stacked upright so the proportion draws the eye up a wall.

Both shapes come in all five colors and share the same glossy glaze, which pools darker along the recessed lines and gives every tile visible depth.

Where Decoris Works

Decoris is rated for walls and backsplashes in residential and commercial spaces, and it is also approved for pools and spas. Water absorption sits at or below 0.5 percent, the threshold for impervious porcelain, which is what makes constant contact with water safe. That puts shower surrounds, steam rooms, and pool walls on the table alongside a kitchen backsplash.

It is not rated for floors. Keep Decoris on vertical surfaces and pair it with a floor tile specified for the traffic and wet conditions of the room.

How to Install and Grout Decoris

Decoris has a pressed edge and a tight recommended grout joint, between 1 and 1.5 millimetres, or roughly a sixteenth of an inch. Set at that width, the seams between tiles disappear and the wall becomes one continuous field of small squares or bars.

Grout color does most of the styling work. A contrasting grout outlines every square or bar and turns the relief graphic. A close-toned grout keeps the texture quiet and lets the color lead. Cocoa and chocolate tones suit Clay White and Forest Green, silver works with Light Blue and Moca Beige, and charcoal disappears into Navy Blue.
