Installation and Maintenance
Powell uses a glue down installation method, which creates a more stable and permanent result and can be especially useful in areas with heavier foot traffic. Proper subfloor preparation is important before installation, including cleaning, leveling, and priming the surface as needed. After installation, allow the adhesive to dry completely before cleaning the area or moving furniture back in. For routine care, sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and grit, then damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner approved for vinyl floors. To help protect the surface, use felt pads under furniture and place rugs or mats in high-traffic areas.
