      What Is Melody Tile?

Melody is a glossy 5x5 ceramic wall tile in four colors: Easton White, Eme Ash, Lyric Blue, and Mint Grey. Each color comes as a solid field tile plus two coordinating decorative patterns, Audrey and Chloe, so you can run a plain wall or work in pattern without leaving the colorway.

Audrey carries a fine etched linework pattern that fans across the tile face, building a quiet, all-over texture once several tiles are set together. Chloe carries an off-set circle, and because the circles sit near the tile edge, adjacent tiles link up into full circles that repeat across the wall. The repeating circle motif in particular reads close to a mid-century modern graphic, if that's the direction you're decorating in. Both read as a step up from a plain solid wall tile without committing to a busy print. Browse the wider decorative tiles range for more pattern options in other shapes and colors.

      Melody Wall Tile and Trim

Field tile: The solid 5x5 has a glossy glaze with a soft, watercolor-style edge, the same handcrafted look that runs through the whole collection. It's built for residential and commercial interior walls, so keep it off floors.

Decor tile: Audrey and Chloe are sized to match the field tile exactly, so they drop into a grid or stacked layout without disrupting the joint lines. They're meant to be worked into a field of solid tile, not used to cover an entire wall on their own.

Trim: A 0.5x10 jolly trim is glazed to match each of the four colors, finishing outside corners, window returns, and the top of a backsplash so no raw tile edge shows.

      Melody Tile by Room

Kitchen backsplash: Run the solid field behind a range, then bring in a band of Chloe or a few scattered Audrey tiles for detail without overwhelming the backsplash. Eme Ash or Lyric Blue keeps the look calm against white cabinetry.

Bathroom and spa walls: Easton White or Mint Grey in a solid field reads bright and serene on a bathroom wall, with Audrey worked in as a quiet textural accent near a vanity or mirror.

Shower walls: The glossy glaze catches light well in a shower, and Chloe's connecting circle pattern reads clearly at shower-wall scale, where the eye has more time to take in repeating pattern.

      How to Choose Melody Tile

Decide your deco ratio before you order. Both Audrey and Chloe are designed to be scattered through a solid field, not run wall to wall. Order more solid tile than deco tile if you want the pattern to read as a detail rather than the main event.

Pick Audrey for texture, Chloe for rhythm. Audrey's etched linework adds quiet depth that's easy to overlook at first glance. Chloe's connecting circles create an obvious, repeating motif that's the more graphic of the two choices.

Use the matching jolly trim to finish exposed edges. Skipping it leaves raw tile edges at corners and backsplash tops, which is the detail that makes an otherwise careful installation look unfinished.

Choose Easton White or Mint Grey for a brighter room, Eme Ash or Lyric Blue for more depth. All four pair with both wood and brass, but the cooler two colors read better in rooms that already lean moody or dramatic.

Order a sample to see the etched and circle patterns at full scale. Both decor patterns read differently in photos than they do on a 5x5 tile in your hand.
